Sharon Blount is the president and founder of Building Relationships Around Books (BRAB) Online Book Club and an avid reader. However, that was not always the case due to an early diagnosis of dyslexia. Once she overcame this obstacle, she hasn’t looked back. Sharon enjoys graphic design, writing, and event planning.
She is an Oakland,CA native now living in Georgia, a former medical assistant, and mother to a beautiful son who has truly taught her the meaning of love. In the future, she envisions BRAB becoming a foundation in many states improving literacy in women, men and children.

Building Relationships Around Books (BRAB) is a online book clubs founded in 2003. They have came together for the love of reading and sharing books. With the evolution from hard covers to paper backs and now ebooks, the BRAB mission is to connect with both long time and newly devoted fans of reading. It does not matter the gene it can be romance to urban fiction, written mostly by African American authors.
We simply love to read and support our authors any way we can. As devoted readers, we even fuss over book husbands! We are definitely about that book life in BRAB!
