Tamika L. Sims is a five-time author, author coach, and entrepreneur. Tamika is the creator and founder of the Self-Assured Woman Movement and a 2016 recipient of the Award of Success. Tamika is producer of #SAWLIVE, a bi-annual women's empowerment event. As an author coach, Tamika has helped more than 100 authors birth their books.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Award-Winning Author, Speaker, Entrepreneur, Writing Coach, and Dynamic influencer Tamika L. Sims is living proof of this. A true survivor, Tamika is founder and creator of the Self-Assured Woman ™ Movement, a recipient of an Award of Excellence.

Tamika survived a physically, sexually and emotionally abusive relationship of eight years. It was her passion to see others rescued from the pain of abuse that led to the release of her debut novel "The Plus Factor." Her efforts were rewarded in 2012 with her receiving the "BWABC Literacy Rocks! Author of the Year Award." In 2016, Tamika became a Woman of Success Award recipient.




A true builder at heart, Tamika enjoys helping others identify their unique voice. Tamika is co-owner of Blueprint Recording Studios, where she assists in the area of operations, artist brand development and management. Tamika is the founder and CEO of Ink Pen Diva Manuscript Critique Services, LLC where writing coaching, editing and professional manuscript critique services are offered. As a writing coach, Tamika's mission is to empower others to share their story with the world equipped with accountability, self-awareness and guided instruction.

Tamika believes strongly in community, collaboration, leverage and visibility. Tamika is a frequent lecturer at the University of South Carolina where her book The Plus Factor is used as required text in the Department of Women and Gender Studies.

Tamika serves as an expert in the areas of domestic and sexual violence for numerous NBC, FOX, and CBS affiliates. Tamika released two books in 2017, A Life That's Mine, a fiction novella and Creating a Magnetic Community: Five Ways Aspiring Entrepreneurs, Coaches & Thought Leaders Can Launch with Success.
