Known as a keen strategist for creative professionals like authors and musicians, Patricia Johnson-Harris knows how to get things done despite any obstacles. This native New Yorker left her family and friends and moved with her young son to Baltimore for possibilities of a better life. Without knowing anyone in the area, she became a corporate accountant while supporting her son in various activities.

Like many professionals, she saw friends selling products as an additional stream of income yet they weren’t finding the best vending opportunities. Patricia saw a need and created the Vendors Network which helped to promote multiple vendors of different products to increase visibility and sales.

Building on the success and knowledge gained from the Vendors Network, Patricia created the African American Authors Expo. As the founder of the Expo, she combined her gift of building relationships with a God given desire to serve and promote others work. The Expo is now in its 6th year and is becoming the largest gathering of authors and book lovers on the East Coast.

Patricia Johnson-Harris has created marketing and promotional events as the VP of Charm City Jazz and President of the Youth Writers Challenge, a non-profit 501 c3 organization. Her commitment to excellence has earned her awards such as the Women of Power Award (2012), Power of Love Award (2014) and the Baltimore Times Business Savoy Woman Award.

Her diverse background gives her the ability to speak on various topics such as overcoming adversity, building strong business relationships and how to create live events that attract the right crowd.

Patricia Johnson-Harris has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Strayer University. She and her husband Roger have 4 children and live in Maryland.
