Meet the Author
Tia Williams, author of The Perfect Find, lives in Brooklyn with her sassy 7-year-old daughter, Lina.  In 1997, she graduated from University of Virginia and Amtrak’ed it to New York City, landing a position at YM as Beauty Assistant.  She worked her way up the mastheads of Elle, Glamour and Lucky, and finally, landed the Beauty Director position at Teen People.

While at Glamour in 2001, Tia went on a brief sabbatical to teach English in Seville, Spain, and ended up writing a novel.  Published in ’04, THE ACCIDENTAL DIVA received glowing coverage in Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Essence, Lucky, Elle, Shape, Allure, Today’s Black Woman, Publisher’s Weekly, The New York Times, and The New York Daily News. Tia was also nominated for the African-American Literary Award Show’s Breakout Author of the Year.

In April ’05, launched one of the first beauty blogs, Shake Your Beauty, (named one of Women’s Wear Daily’s Top Ten Beauty Blogs of 2008, and About.com’s top 20 of 2008), and published three more books:  Iman’s THE BEAUTY OF COLOR and two young adult novels, IT CHICKS and SIXTEEN CANDLES.

Tia was also an original co-host on Cosmo Radio’s morning show, “Wake Up With Cosmo (Sirius Satellite Radio), and In Touch Weekly’s On-Air Personality, covering beauty, fashion, and celebrity new on networks like MTV, VH1, Fox and CNN.  And in 2006-2007, she starred in a national Olay commercial, as herself!

In 2009, Tia joined Essence.com, where she worked as Beauty Editor for several years — and then freelanced for several outlets, like Cosmo.com, InStyle.com, VH1.com, XOJane and Marie Claire. These days, Tia is Copy Director at the global hair care brand, Bumble and Bumble.

THE PERFECT FIND BY TIA WILLIAMS

Will a forty-year-old woman with everything on the line her high-stakes career, ticking biological clock, bank account risk it all for an intensely lusty secret romance with the one person who could destroy her comeback, for good?

Jenna Jones, former It-girl fashion editor, is broke and desperate for a second chance. When she s dumped by her longtime fiancé and fired from Darling magazine, she begs for a job from her old arch nemesis, Darcy Vale. The beyond-bitchy publisher of StyleZine.com, Darcy agrees to hire her rival only because her fashion site needs a jolt from Jenna s old school cred. But Jenna soon realizes she s in over her head. She s working with digital-savvy millennials half her age, has never even Twittered, and pretends to still be a Fashion Somebody while living a style lie (she sold her designer wardrobe to afford her sketched-out studio, and now quietly wears Walmart's finest).

Worse? The twenty-two-year-old videographer assigned to shoot her web series is driving her crazy. Wildly sexy with a smile Jenna feels in her thighs, Eric Combs is way off-limits but almost too delicious too resist.
